What is a Licensed Massage Therapist?

Massage therapists go to school to learn how to manipulate the soft-tissue muscles of the body to relieve soreness, improve circulation, rehabilitate injuries, reduce stress and increase relaxation.

Massage therapy programs require between 6-12 months of classroom study and hands-on practice.

What Should I Wear during a Full-Body Massage?

What you wear is completely up to you. During a massage, many spa guests choose to undress completely, while some choose to leave on their underwear.

Before your massage, your massage therapist will exit the room for you to undress and get comfortable under the covers on the massage table. During your treatment, your massage therapist will use a draping technique with the sheet to cover your body, except for the body part being worked on.

Minors Policy:
Guests under the age of 17 are required to wear a bathing suit or undergarments while receiving a massage.

Will I Be Sore after My Massage?

Massage therapy releases lactic acid from the muscles, which can cause a little temporary muscle soreness. The lactic acid crystallizes in your muscles after being worked out.
